The Zard exhaust line for the new BMW R 1300 GS is designed to significantly enhance the bike's performance, with particular attention to the end cap design that highlights the bike's sharp lines.

Developed through the collaboration between Zard's R&D department and the Style Center, the line includes a silencer in both E5/E5+ homologated and racing titanium versions, each equipped with a carbon fiber end cap and heat shield. The silencer is lightweight (-0.8 kg (-1.76 lbs) for the Euro 5+ homologated version and -0.9 kg (-1.98 lbs) for the racing version compared to the standard silencer) and helps increase engine performance (+1.8 HP for the homologated version and +2.5 HP for the racing version compared to the standard silencer), giving the bike the distinctive Zard sound.

Thanks to the combined development of the complete BMW R 1300 GS Exhaust system, slip-on + decat, a further performance increase is achieved: +5.7 HP for the homologated version and +6.4 HP for the racing version compared to the standard combination.
