What Are RAM Mounts Made Out Of?

Because RAM Mounts come with a lifetime warranty, you know they're made out of strong stuff.

The majority of components are made from marine-grade aluminium, and powder coated black.

For some lighter applications (eg. cradles) the products are made from a high-strength composite instead. This gives them a lighter weight, while still remaining strong enough to do the job in rough conditions.

Occasionally there will also be components that include stainless steel, zinc or chrome, and these will be identified in the product code, title and description. 

Either way, as you can see from the video above, all units are manfucactured to last, and to do their job properly.
